Apple has unveiled the iPhone 17 series in India, introducing a new lineup that includes the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The “Plus” model has been replaced by the new iPhone Air, a super-thin device that promises a different user experience. The entire lineup is now available for sale in India, with pre-orders and special offers from major retailers.
iPhone 17 and iPhone Air
The iPhone 17 is the new base model, featuring a larger 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology, which brings a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate to the non-Pro lineup for the first time. The screen is also protected by Ceramic Shield 2, which offers 3x better scratch resistance. It is powered by the A19 chip and comes with a new 48MP Dual Fusion camera system (Main and Ultra Wide). The iPhone 17 starts at ₹82,900 for the 256GB model.
The new iPhone Air is a major design departure, focusing on an ultra-thin and light form factor. It has a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display and is protected by a Grade 5 titanium frame. The iPhone Air runs on the A19 Pro chip and features a 48MP Fusion Main camera. Its most significant difference from the standard model is its extremely thin design, which prioritizes form and feel. The iPhone Air is priced from ₹1,19,900 in India.
